How We Work
Every policy we run, in plain language, plus an honest read on who we're a good fit for. Nothing here changes without written notice first.
Most of the yards we keep are irrigated, and most of our clients would rather not think about the lawn at all. That is who the route is built for.
We're not the right crew for everyone.
Two people run one short route, and that only works if the yards on it fit how we work. Here's an honest read before you spend time on a quote.
We're a good fit if
- You want the same two people on your property every visit, on a set day.
- You're in Abilene and want recurring service, weekly or biweekly.
- You'd rather pay a fair rate once than shop the cheapest quote every spring.
- You can keep the yard clear and gates unlocked on your service day.
- You care what the edges look like.
We're probably not your crew if
- You're outside Abilene. We'll tell you straight rather than stretch the route and let service slip.
- You want the front yard only. We take the whole property or none of it.
- You need one crew for mowing, beds, hedges, and hauling. We only mow.
- You want to call and move the visit most weeks. A fixed day is the whole system.
- Price is the only thing you're comparing. We won't be the lowest bid.
What it costs
Per visit, priced by turf square footage. Mow, trim, edge, and blow are included every time. Biweekly is what most of our route runs. We measure your lot before we quote, so the number we send is the number you pay. See starting prices for every turf size.
No. As long as we have access to the yard, you don't need to be there.
Yes. Refer a neighbor, and once they've been on the route 30 days, your next service is free. One free visit per client per season. Neighbors keep our route tight, which is how we hold the standard.
Each client gets two skips per season, March through October, requested at least 24 hours ahead. Weather cancellations on our end never count against that. We don't skip for slow growth, because staying on schedule is what keeps the lawn healthy and the finish consistent.
Yes. The yard needs to be clear of pet waste, toys, hoses, and furniture before we arrive, gates unlocked, dogs kept inside. If we show up and can't safely mow, the visit counts as one of your two seasonal skips. This one isn't negotiable, and it's the most common reason a yard comes off our schedule.
Text us. We'll come back on our next route day and fix it, no charge. That's the whole policy. Keeping the route small is what leaves room for the extra trip.
Bermuda goes dormant and stops growing, so recurring mowing pauses through the winter. Your spot on the route is held, not lost. We'll talk in October about what your yard needs and when we'll pick back up, usually around March. You aren't billed for visits that don't happen.
No. Clippings get finely cut and left on the lawn, which feeds nitrogen back into the Bermuda.
Pricing can change if your property's size, condition, or scope changes, or if our service costs do. We'll give you at least 7 days notice by text or in writing before a new rate takes effect, and it only applies to visits after that date.
We only mow. Not included: weed pulling in beds, debris hauling, hedge trimming, leaf cleanup, irrigation repair, fertilization and weed control. Hedge trimming and leaf cleanup are permanent exclusions. We don't offer them and we don't subcontract them out. Fertilization is not available yet. Licensing is in progress. Current clients will hear first when it goes live.
Payment is due the day of service. All invoicing runs through Stripe, payable by card, bank transfer, or Cash App Pay. A $25 late fee applies at 7 or more days past due, and service may be paused until the balance clears.
Still sounds like a fit?
Send your address. We'll measure the lot, check it against the route, and give you a straight yes or no with a firm price.
